Three fire crews were sent to a kitchen fire in Fore Street this evening.
It happened in a flat around 10.06pm, with two appliances from Princes Street, Ipswich, and one from Ipswich East being sent to the scene.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used one hosereel to put out the fire and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property.
One person was treated for smoke inhalation.
