Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service tackled a car fire in Levington late last night.
An appliance from Ipswich East was mobilised to an address at Stratton Hall Drift at 11.32pm after multiple calls reporting a vehicle on fire in the middle of the road.
Firefighters arrived to fine a Mercedes Benz well alight, and brought the fire under control using two sets of breathing apparatus and one hosereel jet.
The fire service had left the scene by 12.25am, and notified Suffolk police of the fire, as they believed the cause was deliberate.
