LG mobile phone stolen from man after being attacked by group in Ipswich

A man has been robbed of his mobile phone after attacked in Ipswich overnight.

The incident happened in Shakespeare Road at 12.55am.

The victim was approached by a group of four or five males, whos asked him for his phone. When he declined, he was hit in the back of the head and punched in the face.

As he fell to the ground, his mobile phone, which is an LG, was stolen from his pocket.

Enquiries are in place and officers are asking anyone with information to get in contact by calling 101 quoting incident number 11 of today.
