A LIFEBOAT was called to the River Deben to help refloat a yacht that had run aground.
Harwich Lifeboats were called to help the 30ft yacht with two people on board that had got into difficulty on the Deben Sand Bar at around 11.10pm on Saturday night.
On arrival the yacht had re-floated herself without assistance but had in the process of doing so damaged the engine.
The Inshore Lifeboat took her in tow to local moorings in the River Deben.
