Christmas shoppers face car parking disruption in Ipswich today after an alleged double stabbing caused a partial closure of one of the town’s biggest car parks.

NCP Ipswich Blackfriars, which has 513 spaces, is partially open, and the Ipswich Borough Council (IBC) Smart Street car park, which has 21 spaces, is completely closed, while police investigate the incident which left two men seriously injured in hospital.
