A MAJOR road leading into Ipswich has been closed after a lorry has hit a bridge today .The accident happened shortly before 7am on the A12 at Foxhall in the Colchester direction.
A MAJOR road leading into Ipswich has been closed after a lorry has hit a bridge today.
The accident happened shortly before 7am on the A12 at Foxhall in the Colchester direction.
Initial reports state the driver of the lorry is trapped in his vehicle and a digger has fallen off the back of his load.
Fire crews and an ambulance are in attendance.
The road has been closed from the Foxhall roundabout southwards and diversions are currently being put in place.
