A MAJOR accident has taken place in the Dartford Tunnel in Essex.It is thought possible structural damage has been caused.More details to follow.
A CRASH involving three lorries has taken place in the Dartford Tunnel in Essex.
The collision led to the closure of the west tunnel just after 10am today, which caused heavy congestion on the M25 on the border of Kent and Essex.
A Highways Agency spokesman said no injuries had been reported and the east tunnel remained open.
There is no sign of structural damage at the moment.
