Man, 62, threatened while walking on Bramford Road in Ipswich

Witnesses are needed after a 62-year-old man was threatened in Ipswich on Saturday.

The incident happened on Bramford Road at 7.15pm when a young man approached the victim and demanded his mobile phone.

A Suffolk police spokesman said: “The man refused to give his phone to the suspect and walked away before calling police.”

The suspect is described as white, around 17-years-old, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build and with blue eyes. He is described as speaking with a Polish accent.
