A MAN will appear before magistrates this morning after a woman was stabbed at a Suffolk home.
Derek Burns, 45, of no fixed abode, was charged with GBH and threats to kills following the incident at Baldwin Avenue, in Bury St Edmunds on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to the address just after 9am to reports that a woman had received stab wounds.
The victim, who is in her 20s, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury, where her condition was last night described as stable.
Mr Burns was arrested on Saturday and was placed under supervision at a Suffolk hospital before being taken into police custody.
He will appear before Bury magistrates' court this morning.
