A PROLIFIC armed robber today admitted holding up three Suffolk building societies.Peter Zarre, an Austrian national, pleaded guilty to six armed robberies throughout the country, including one at Ipswich Building Society in Aldeburgh, when he appeared at Gloucester Crown Court.

Peter Zarre, an Austrian national, pleaded guilty to six armed robberies throughout the country, including one at Ipswich Building Society in Aldeburgh, when he appeared at Gloucester Crown Court.
The 52-year-old of Wobbe Grasse, Vienna, spent virtually all the proceeds - which totalled more than £29,000 - from the six armed raids plus five others he asked to be taken into consideration on hotels, living expenses and escort girls.
