Police have arrested a man who is alleged to have threatened people in Dickens Road, Ipswich.
The force helicopter and police vehicles were sent to the street near Chantry Park, just before 6pm tonight.
A police spokesman said officers carried out inquiries before a man was arrested at the scene. He is alleged to have threatened people in a nearby property.
He was arrested on suspicion of causing a public order offence and is currently in police custody.
