IPSWICH: A man caught harbouring stolen puppies worth �8,000 has been given an 18-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months.
Jamie Sawkins, of Kemball Street, Ipswich, must also do 80 hours of unpaid work as part of the sentence he was given at South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court, in Ipswich.
The 25-year-old must also pay �100 in compensation to the owner of the dogs and was ordered to pay �85 in prosecution costs.
