Marvin Coker, 26, was charged late last night after the incident in the flats early yesterday morning. He has been bailed to appear before magistrates in Ipswich on October 22.
Police and ambulance staff were called to an incident in a penthouse flat after receiving a report that a man had been stabbed at the end of an all-night party.
One man was taken to hospital with stab wounds, but these were not serious. Three men were initially arrested, but two - aged 22 and 29 - were later released without charge.
