A 21-year-old man charged with shooting a woman in Grundisburgh has been released on conditional bail.
Alexander Powell, of Stoney Road, Grundisburgh, near Woodbridge, appeared before Ipswich magistrates charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding Michelle Coulson, 19, who lives at the same address, on Thursday.
Powell was released on a number of conditions, including a ban from entering Suffolk.
He was sent to Norwich Prison while a bail hostel outside the county is found for him.
He will reappear at South East Suffolk Magistrates Court on September 23.
