AN Ipswich man has been found not guilty of rape after a two-day trial.
A jury at Bury St Edmunds Crown Court took less than two hours to clear Edward Chambers, of Peterhouse Close.
The 38-year-old had been accused of raping a woman by continuing to have sex with her despite her pleas to stop.
But this claim was rejected and Mr Chambers is today a free man after a unanimous jury verdict.
