A TEENAGE girl was left "shaking and in state" after she was allegedly indecently assaulted by a man old enough to be her grandfather, a court heard today.

The 14-year-old girl claimed that 67-year-old John Moore had put his tongue in her mouth and had kissed her on the chest, Ipswich Crown Court was told.

Moore, who was living in Swallow Road, Ipswich, has denied one offence of indecent assault.

Duncan O'Donell, prosecuting, claimed that Moore had made a remark about the size of the girl's chest. He had then grabbed hold of her and said he wanted to kiss her.

He had then allegedly put his tongue in her mouth and had kissed the top part of her chest.

The girl pleaded with him to stop but he had allegedly ignored her and had undone the zip of his trousers.

When the girl told him she was only 14 he had allegedly said: " You're old enough to do it now."

The girl had managed to break free and had run off and told her mother what had happened.

After his arrest Moore denied the allegation.
