A MAN has died following a crash in Essex.
Paramedics, firefighters and police officers were called to Copthall Lane in Little Wigborough, near Colchester, at about 6.45pm today.
The incident involved a van which left the road and overturned in a ditch, leaving the man trapped.
Firefighters worked to free him but he could not be saved.
It is thought the man was working when the accident happened and the Health and Safety Executive has been informed.
