A MAN has been found dead in a lorry in a lay-by on the A12.
An East of England Ambulance Service rapid response vehicle was sent at around 1.45pm yesterday and was joined shortly afterwards by the air ambulance and a land ambulance.
The man, who was in the cab of the lorry, was found next to the London-bound carriageway between Marks Tey and East Thorpe.
An ambulance said: “When the paramedic on the response vehicle arrived, he immediately got into the cab of the lorry.
“Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
