A MAN was hospitalised after he was found in an Ipswich road with a head injury.
Paramedics were called after the 40-year-old was seen in Belstead Road just after 11.35pm yesterday.
The man was unable to explain what had happened and it was not initially clear whether he had fallen and hit his head or suffered the injury another way.
However Suffolk police said today they were not investigating any crime linked with the incident.
