A MAN was being questioned today after a shop in Bury St Edmunds was subjected to a Hallowe'en raid by a masked, knife-wielding robber.The 25-year-old from Bury St Edmunds was arrested at about 11.30pm last night.
A MAN was being questioned today after a shop in Bury St Edmunds was subjected to a Hallowe'en raid by a masked, knife-wielding robber.
The 25-year-old from Bury St Edmunds was arrested at about 11.30pm last night and was being held at Bury police station today.
During the robbery, staff at the general store in St John's Street were threatened before the raider stole an undisclosed sum of cash.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time, or who has any information about the incident to contact Bury CID on 01473 613500.
