POLICE have arrested a 19-year-old on suspicion of attempted murder following a disturbance in Croft Street.The incident happened at about 5.30pm yesterday and left 72-year-old Esmie Nesbitt with stab wounds.
POLICE have arrested a 19-year-old on suspicion of attempted murder following a disturbance in Croft Street.
The incident happened at about 5.30pm yesterday and left 72-year-old Esmie Nesbitt with stab wounds.
She is currently being treated at Ipswich Hospital where her condition is described as stable.
The arrested man is in custody at Ipswich police station.
