A man was taken to Ipswich Hospital after suffering cuts and bruises to his head during an assault in Ipswich early on Sunday morning.
Police received a call to say the man was being attacked by two others shortly before 4am at the junction of Stone Lodge Lane West and Birkfield Drive.
They found the victim who was then taken to Ipswich Hospital in an ambulance - although his injuries were not serious.
Police are treating the incident as an assault causing actual bodily harm.
