A MAN was today taken to hospital with head and leg injuries after a two-vehicle smash in Barton Mills.The accident occurred around 4.15pm when a white Volkswagen Polo and a white Ford Transit van were in collision on the A1101.
A MAN was today taken to hospital with head and leg injuries after a two-vehicle smash in Barton Mills.
The accident occurred around 4.15pm when a white Volkswagen Polo and a white Ford Transit van were in collision on the A1101.
Firefighters rushed to the scene and used saws and cutting equipment to release the man, who was then taken to the West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds by ambulance.
Drivers were being advised to keep away from the area as a portion of the road was blocked.
