A BUSY Norwich road was closed at rush-hour yesterday, causing traffic chaos for commuters, after an accident involving a pedestrian and a car.
Newmarket Road was closed at about 5.20pm and reopened at 7.45pm, following the crash near Brunswick Road.
The 65-year-old man suffered serious arm, leg and head injuries and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
