PARAMEDICS treated a man for head injuries after he was assaulted near Club Brazilia in Station Hill, Bury St Edmunds, today.
An East Anglian Ambulance Service spokesman said when the initial call was received at 1.10am it was reported that the victim was unconscious but breathing.
However a spokesman for Suffolk Police said when officers arrived at the scene, the man was conscious and declined to make a complaint.
