A 50-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital today after his heart stopped following a car crash.
The collision happened between two cars in Defoe Road, Ipswich, at around 4.50pm.
The man was shocked by paramedics with a defibrillator after suffering cardiac arrest.
An ambulance spokesman said the man was alive when he arrived at Ipswich Hospital shortly afterwards.
