Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Belstead Road, Ipswich last Thursday.
Officers were called by the ambulance service around 3.30pm who reported an accident between a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian – a man in his early 20s – sustained a fractured cheek bone, bruising and cuts and was taken to Ipswich Hospital by land ambulance. He is now recovering at home.
The road was closed between Luther Road and Stone Lodge Lane while an investigation got underway.
Anyone who may have seen what happened is asked to call Suffolk police on 101, quoting CAD number 256 of Thursday 23.
