Pupils at a Martlesham school crowned “2013 Champions of Champions” in a competition highlighting environmental achievements have helped launch next year’s awards.
The nominations for the Creating the Greenest County Awards 2014 opened at Birchwood Primary School last week with a pupil-led presentation on how the award has benefited them.
Eco-schools co-ordinator Sandra Doman said: “We like to think it has led to well-rounded, caring and responsible children and as a school our passion and commitment has enthused parents, governors and the wider community.”
Businesses, schools and groups can visit www.greensuffolk.org/awards2014 before January 31 to enter.
