Building work to split up the former B&Q store at Anglia Retail Park off Bury Road in Ipswich is now under way – and the new Bounce Centre there is due to be completed by May.

The large former DIY store is being split into three units, for Bounce, Go Outdoors and The Range. A further unit is to be converted for home furnishers Dunelm.

A spokesman for the owner of the retail park said Bounce trampoline centre should be ready in about three months time and all the retailers were expected to be on the park before the end of the year.

None of the retailers have commented on their move to the park – The Range and Dunelm are moving from the Suffolk Retail Park off London Road in Ipswich while Go Outdoors is a new retailer for the town.

Planning permission for the move was granted by Ipswich Council earlier this month although a further application to allow an extension to The Range is still to be discussed.
