No sponsor has come forward to offer the £30,000 needed to save the concert which was plunged into doubt after promoters John Hesenthaler Productions called in administrators Ensors.
However tickets can be exchanged for seats at the Ipswich Town/Atletico Madrid match at Portman Road on the same night - and football club officials have promised the game will have a “McFly theme.”
