POLICE are hunting a man who disappeared while on licence from prison.

Yohan Clarke, 29, who has been convicted of manslaughter, has not been seen since Tuesday, November 20.

He was released on licence in late October but his recall was generated by Ministry of Justice after he broke the terms of the licence, which included living at a particular address in south London.

The Metropolitan Police said Clarke is associated primarily with the Croydon and south Norwood areas, although officers believe he could be anywhere in London or the home counties.

He is black, about 5ft 10in tall and of medium build. He has extensive scarring on his face. It is believed he has no access to money or a change of clothing.

A police spokesman said: β€œHe has previously been convicted of a serious offence and is associated with violent actions, and therefore it is advised that members of the public do not approach him.”

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact Croydon CID on 020 8649 0088 or the Croydon control room, available 24 hours, a day on 020 8649 1386.
