More than 1,000 homes in east Ipswich suffered a power cut following a fault on the electricity network this afternoon.
Homes in the Laurel Avenue area were hit by the fault just after 3pm.
A spokeswoman for UK Power Networks said that the majority of homes saw power back on by 4.50pm and work was continuing to reconnect the final two supplies.
The company apologised for any inconvenience caused.
