A WOMAN motorist has been taken to hospital tonight with serious injuries after her car hit a tree in a Suffolk village. The woman, who has not been named, was driving along the A143 at Ingham when she collided with a tree at about 5pm.

A police spokesman said she had been taken to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury St Edmunds.
