Mugger knocks out victim on street
A YOUTH punched a man unconscious before robbing him of his wallet in Ipswich.The attack on a 30-year-old man happened in Burrell Road at around 9.30pm on Saturday, January 19, as the victim walked along the street.
A YOUTH punched a man unconscious before robbing him of his wallet in Ipswich.
The attack on a 30-year-old man happened in Burrell Road at around 9.30pm on Saturday, January 19, as the victim walked along the street.
Four youths approached him and spoke to the victim before one of the gang knocked him unconscious.
When he came round, the man discovered his wallet had been stolen.
One of the gang was white, around 5ft 3ins tall and around 19-years-old. He was slimly built with blond hair which was shaved at the back and sides but long at the top and twisted into spikes. He was wearing a black shirt.
Another of the gang was a mixed race and stocky built with shaved hair and stubble on his face.

The other two young men were dark skinned.
