Launch of `I Spy Drawing’ Family Art Club
University Campus Suffolk will be starting a free monthly Family Art Club, beginning this Saturday, 13 February.
Entitled ‘I Spy Drawing’ the club in UCS’ Waterfront Gallery will offer the opportunity for young people to create a piece of art work in response to the current exhibition.
Carol Gant, Arts Curator at UCS, said: “Our Family Art Club is a place to develop and extend creativity. Our artists and volunteers aim to support children and carers to look closely at artworks, talk about what they see, make creative choices and try out new techniques. It’s a space for the whole family to enjoy and make together.”
The Art Club will take place from 10-11.30am and is suitable for children aged 8 – 12 years-old and their families.
Parents/Carers are required to stay with their children.
Booking is required as spaces are limited.
