DESPITE growing concern over numbers of planes in our skies, aviation bosses cannot say how many are today flying over Suffolk - or how many more will in future.
Observers put the figure as high as 1,200 a day over the Ipswich and Felixstowe area, creating noise, air pollution, vapour trails which block out the sun, and that number could double in the next 20 years.
