I RECENTLY featured a photograph take in Carr Street, Ipswich, of a newspaper seller when the Evening Star offices and printing works were there asking if anybody recognized the man in his smart green uniform.

George Stagg, of Felixstowe, said: “He is Douglas Wright, now 79 years old and living at Beach Road West, Felixstowe. He is the father of my daughter-in-law Mrs Erika Stagg who lives at Trimley St Martin. A call from Dennis Bryen also identified Douglas.
