Train services in Suffolk were delayed today after a points failure.
Services between Ipswich and Felixstowe and Ipswich and Lowestoft via Saxmundham were delayed or cancelled between 12pm and 2.30pm following the points failure between Westerfield and Ipswich.
A number of bus replacement services were arranged by train operator Abllio Greater Anglia.
A spokesman said: “Network Rail engineers arrived at the location of the fault at 2pm and made repairs to allow trains to run normally.
“We are sorry if your travel plans are affected by this disruption.”
