AS the Super Blues prepare for their trip to Birmingham to see the boys in action against Aston Villa we are remembering another pilgrimage.
Looking through the archives from 1972, we found this image of young ITFC supporters on the Blue Arrow Train to Peterborough in January of that year. Were you on board?
We also have images showing Thurleston School’s gymnastics club; Ransome and Rapier Ltd children’s party and Ipswich Boys’ Brigade’s sponsored fish-in at Manor End, Felixstowe.
Are you in any of these pictures?
Did you receive an award at the Civic College badminton presentations in December 1972 or were you at te presentation at Kesgrave Red Cross? Were you one of the stars of the show when Springfield Follies presented Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs or do you remember a trip to see Father Christmas at Trimley St Martin’s Christmas bazaar in November 1972.
As ever, if you have any memories you wish to share with Star readers, email us at starnews@archant.co.uk
