One-night show to be real song and dance
VIDEO Last minute preparations are under way today for a one-night show of song, dance and comedy at Felixstowe's Spa Pavilion.A production by the Dennis Lowe theatre company, Summer Magic boasts a cast of 25 performing tomorrow afternoon and evening a selection of songs and dance routines as well as comedy sketches compered by funny man Ron Markwell.
LAST minute preparations are under way today for a one-night show of song, dance and comedy at Felixstowe's Spa Pavilion.
A production by the Dennis Lowe theatre company, Summer Magic boasts a cast of 25 performing tomorrow afternoon and evening a selection of songs and dance routines as well as comedy sketches compered by funny man Ron Markwell.
Speaking during a dress rehearsal, director Suzanne Lowe, 22, said: “We've had a few technical hitches but we are very excited. It is going to be a good show.”
With selections from the musicals, a Disney section and jive and swing routines the show is emphasising family entertainment.
Miss Lowe added: “We've been rehearsing once a week for six weeks and it has been quite tough to get the show together.”
