Marcus Evans has been charged in connection with ticket-touting by Brazilian authorities at the Rio Olympics, according to the BBC.
The owner of Ipswich Town Football Club is among nine people charged with the offence.
Mr Evans, who runs his own sports hospitality company, has denied the allegations.
