A member of the public helped to break up a fight in Felixstowe which lead to two men being arrested for assault.
The incident happened at around 4.40pm on Monday, November 20 in Victoria Street, close to the junction with Cobbold Road.
It is alleged that during the altercation a man and woman – both aged in their 30s – were assaulted by two men, before a member of the public intervened.
Officers were called and subsequently arrested two men - aged 32 and 26 and both from Felixstowe - on suspicion of assault.
The pair were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
