The daredevil toys, part of the wider Teddy Bears Picnic in Christchurch Park, will be taking the plunge in front of dozens of people in Ipswich on Sunday.

Children and adults alike are being asked to bring their teddies along to take part in an afternoon of activities.

A teddy bear hunt will be hosted inside Christchurch Mansion, alongside a range of other attractions including face painting, animal balloon modelling and a doughnut stand. Prizes include tickets to Finding Dory, one of the films being screened in the open cinema event on July 1.

Each parachutist bear will receive a certificate for their bravery, and each jump costs £3.
