A man believed to be in his 60s was hit by a car in Suffolk today.

The crash happened in Hamilton Road, Felixstowe, near the town’s train station, around 4.45pm.

A police spokeswoman said the pedestrian had suffered what appeared to be a minor leg injury, which did not require hospital treatment.

No arrests were made and the road was not closed or blocked, the police spokeswoman added.
