A pedestrian was involved in a collision with a car in Ipswich this morning.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said officers made their way to the scene in Derby Road following the incident, which took place around 11.40am.

The pedestrian was struck on the leg and was treated by an ambulance crew which was called – but police said the injuries were not serious.

Shortly after 1pm police were called to deal with a car that had ended up on its roof after turning over in Orford. No one was injured in the incident and the road was not blocked. The car was recovered in the early afternoon.
