The air ambulance was called to Thorndon Hill Farm, Thorndon, near Eye, at 2.45pm.
The East of England Ambulance Service received a report that a man in his 70s had been trampled by cattle in a field.
He was taken by air ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said it is not known how serious his injuries are but it is believed they could be potentially serious.
She said a land ambulance was also called to the scene.
