Pigs escape onto A12 at Blythburgh

SUFFOLK: Drivers are being warned after 12 pigs wandered onto the A12 at Blythburgh at 5.20pm today.

SUFFOLK: Drivers were being warned after 12 pigs wandered onto the A12 at Blythburgh yesterday.

A motorist reported the animals had escaped onto the south-bound carriageway near the B1387 junction at 5.20pm, possibly from a nearby farm.

Police contacted the farmer who attempted to the clear the livestock from the highway.
