POLICE have appealed for information after a 28-year-old man went missing.

POLICE have appealed for information after a 28-year-old man went missing.

Brian Jordan of Pauline Street, Ipswich was reported missing by his sister at 10.50am on Sunday.

She last spoke to him on the phone on the evening of Monday, January 7. Mr Jordan also spoke to his parents then and last spoke to his wife by phone on Tuesday, January 8.

Mr Jordan also went missing in December 2005 and September 2006. Addresses he is known to frequent have been checked and his friends have been contacted but he has not been located.

Homeless facilities and housing agencies have been checked but none have any record of Mr Jordan seeking accommodation.

He is described as white, 5ft 10in tall, of stocky build and with short dark brown hair.

He has an Irish accent, smokes, has a gothic symbol tattoo on one of his forearms and was wearing a jeans and a green jacket when he was last seen.

He does not have a mobile phone as it was damaged. He may have access to money but does not drive.

Suffolk Police said they are keen to speak to him to be assured he is safe and well.
