POLICE are appealing for information following the disappearance of a 14-year-old boy who has not been seen for a week.
Owen Gordon, of Stonham Parva, near Stowmarket, went missing on Monday, May 12.
He was last seen at 5.05pm that day, shopping in Ipswich and officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said while it is not out of character for Owen to go missing, it is unusual for him to be out of contact for this long.
He is described as black, around 5ft10in tall, with short black afro hair and brown eyes.
He was wearing a grey and white t-shirt, ¾ length brown shorts, black trainers and a black and white surfer-style necklace.
He has family in the Plaistow area of London and it is thought he may have travelled there or to Camden, where he also has connections.
Anyone with information should call Debenham Police on 01284 774100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
