AN Ipswich teenager was taken to hospital today following a hit and run incident in the town in the early hours of the morning.Police and ambulance crews were called to Arnold Close, Whitton, after a member of the public reported that a man had been injured following a collision with a car.
AN Ipswich teenager was taken to hospital today following a hit and run incident in the town in the early hours of the morning.
Police and ambulance crews were called to Arnold Close, Whitton, after a member of the public reported that a man had been injured following a collision with a car.
The accident happened at around 12.38am but the car involved failed to stop.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said crews were on the scene for 20 minutes treating the 19-year-old man for neck injuries prior to taking him to Ipswich Hospital.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said the car involved is believed to be a silver colour.
